About the album "Sild Out (Live)" by Per Sigmond, Oscar Jansen and Arild Nyborg
This band (formerly known as "Trippelboooka") is a "feelgood-jazz-trio" consisting of Per Sigmond
(flügelhorn), Oscar Jansen (piano) and Arild Nyborg (percussion). The project is a kind of musical "refuge" or "haven"; we play melodies we
like and in a way that gives us happyness and energy.
This album was first released in 2018 under the name "Trippelboooka (Live)". It soon turned out (due to misunderstandings and bad judgement on our side) that
almost nobody were able to find the music online. If people knew the band name (Trippelboooka), they would not find it because it was spelled "Trippel Boooka" on the streaming platforms.
Searching via the name of the musicians didn't work either.
So in 2025 we decided to release the album again abandoning the band name and instead using our own artist names. Now the music turns up if you search for Per Sigmond,
Oscar Jansen or Arild Nyborg, as well as the album name Sild Out. We hope that helps a little when it comes to exposure.
Right from the start of the group (2012) Per recorded concert performances of the trio in the hope that some of it might be good enough to release. The recordings turned out to sound really well, and eventually we had gathered enough material
to assemble an album.
